Well it is that time of year again!!! Please read this Newsletter carefully and put all the important dates in you diary.
CONCERT
The Danza & Performing Arts annual concert will be held -
Date: Sunday 15th November 2009
Location: Allambie Heights Community Hall, Allambie Road, ALLAMBIE HEIGHTS
Time: 4.30pm
All children will be in at least 2 items, so invite all your family and friends to come along and see what your little princess has learnt at DANZA this year.
TICKETS
Prices:
Adults $15.00
Children under 12 yrs. $10.00 Children under 2 years who do not require a seat are free
NB you do not need to purchase a ticket for any performer in the concert.
Tickets will be on sale from Saturday 21st October 2009 - Wednesday 11th November 2009.
To purchase tickets, please put your name on the front of an envelope plus the number of tickets that you require, place the payment inside and give it to your class teacher.
Your tickets will be given to you at your child’s next class.
COSTUMES
It is DANZA policy to hire costumes for the concert to the students rather than expect parents to purchase and sew individual costumes for their children. The hire charge for each class is based on type/number of costumes. An invoice will follow to advise you of the amount due. This fee is payable with your term 4 fees.
FEES
Term four fees & costume hire are payable from today and all monies are required to be to us by week two of term four. If there are special circumstances relating to payment, please contact me via email or phone.

DRESS REHEARSAL
All dress rehearsals will take place during class time in week 2 of term 4 (24th Oct - 28th Oct 2009). Following is a list of what each class will be required to bring to the dress rehearsal:

Students are required to arrive in their DANZA leotard, stockings and have all items which were required for the dress rehearsal. All classes will require the following makeup: Foundation, blush earthy coloured eye shadow, mascara, and red lipstick
All Classes will be required to have their hair done as advised above.
Please arrive at the Naremburn Studio 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time in the appropriate clothing with full hair and make up done.
This Photo Shoot is not compulsory but I do urge everyone to attend as it is a fantastic experience. The photos will be on display and for sale on Concert day prior to the show as well as during intermission.
CONCERT REHEARSALS
We will be holding rehearsals at the Allambie Community Centre on both Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November which will be compulsory for all students to attend. This will give your child the opportunity to dance on the stage prior to the concert and hopefully ward off any stage fright.
Please see Concert Rehearsal schedule for your child’s rehearsal time.
We will also be holding a rehearsal for all students on Saturday 31st October from 10am - 1pm & Saturday 7th November from 10am - 1pm at the Allambie Studio.
Exact times your child will be required on these dates will be advised via email within the next couple of weeks. Please ensure you son and or daughter attend.
