It’s been great to see you all enjoying yourselves; you have all been working extremely hard!! 

Lauren and Shannon would like to thank everyone for helping them settle in.  They are having a wonderful time and love teaching you!  

I would like to congratulate our performance groups for their fantastic efforts in the Northern Beaches Eisteddfod as well as the Extreme Challenge were they performed beautifully.

Well done girls keep up the hard work!!!

 

TERM DATES

Just a reminder of DANZA’s term dates.  We do occasionally start the weekend prior to school and sometimes have classes on the first Saturday of school holidays depending on the term layout.

Term 2 finishes Saturday 2^nd July

Term 3 starts   Saturday 16^th July & finishes Friday 23^rd September

Term 4 starts   Saturday 8^th October & finishes Saturday 10^th December

 

FEES

Term Three fees are payable from today.  If you require an invoice please email your request to DANZA.pa@gmail.com. 

All who pay prior to the end of week two (29 July) will receive the early bird discount of $10.00. 

Payments can be made by any of the following options:

• Posting during the vacation to 6 Townsend Avenue Frenchs Forest 2086 (Cheques Only)
• Sending with your child to class either cash or cheque in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the amount enclosed, the date, and the student’s name
• Paying directly into our bank account.

If you have not yet paid the $10.00 per class Costume Hire Deposit which guarantees your child’s place in the annual concert please do so with your term fees.  Costumes will only be made for those who have paid the deposit.  If there are any problems with paying the fees or costume hire deposit please have a quiet chat to me and we can arrange a payment plan for you.

  

UNIFORMS

Congratulations to all the students who have been wearing the DANZA uniform, you all look very smart.

CONCERT

Our annual concert will be held at the Allambie Heights Community Centre on Sunday 30^th October 2011. 

Please put this date in your dairy!!!

We will hold all dress rehearsals during your child’s class time during week 10 of Term 3 (Saturday 17 to Friday 23 September).  I urge all students to attend this rehearsal as it gives them a chance to dance in their costume and enables us to add any final touches and adjustments to costumes prior to the Photo Shoot.

 

CONCERT REHEARSALS

Additional Rehearsals will take place. 

We will hold rehearsals on Saturday 15^th & 22^nd October in the Allambie Studio and on Saturday 29^th and Sunday 30^th in the Concert hall. 

A Rehearsal Schedule will be emailed out early next term.

 

PHOTO SHOOT

The “Photo Shoot” for all students will take place at the Naremburn studio on Saturday 8^th October 2011.  Anyone who has prior activities on this date please contact me immediately so we can reschedule the timetable accordingly.

 

COSTUMES

HELP!!!!!!

So far we have had only 2 people respond to assist in the costumes, set and props creation. 

To keep our hire costs to a minimum we need help.

FUND RAISING

After the fantastic response to last years fundraiser Raffle we have decided to hold one again this year.

Donna Hughes (Emily’s mum) & Kal Garcha (Jade’s Mum) have kindly offered to make all necessary arrangements.  Donna & Kal will be in touch early next term with more information.

 

I would just like to thank everyone once again for your support.  Have a nice break and I am looking forward to seeing you all again at the commencement of Term 3.
