The story behind Danza

Creative director Rhianna created Danza to share her unique passion and talent for dance teaching and choreographing within the dance industry.

The passion for dance started more than 26 years ago along side modeling, acting and singing which continues on everyday going forward. Rhianna has 15 years of experience as a teacher, and choreographer and has taught at many well-known dance studios and various schools/colleges.

She created Danza back in 2006 and today is known as a leading dance, entertainment and event company based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her large portfolio has found her performing with many famous artist such as Eric Belinger, MC Hammer, Mya, Justice Crew and Marvin Priest; just to name a few.

Base in the western surburb of Melbourne Danza Studios provides dance classes ranging from hip-hop, jazz, technical/stretch, contemporary, singing, lyrical, theatrical wedding classes, Brazilian and tap for all ages. These classes range from beginners as young as 2 years old through to professional levels. Our passion is to nurture amazing talent for their future in the arts and entertainment industry or even if its just for fun.

Our Danza Fit teachers travel far and wide to reach schools/colleges around Melbourne to bring dance into their classroom. This encourages all students and their teachers to incorporate dance fitness and fun activities into their day-to-day learning curriculum.

Danza Talent is a Boutique Melbourne Agency that continuously supplies major event entertainment for all types functions and events. This ranges from smaller home birthday parties to weddings, all the way through to large functions and events.

You may have seen the Danza Talent team appear at the following locations such as: Crown Entertainment complex, Hisense Arena, Marvel Stadium, MCG, Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Rod Laver Arena, Royal Melbourne Exhibition Building and many more.

Danza Corporate Events is known throughout the corporate sector for their styling and creative direction at all functions, and events.

This sees Rhianna continually choreographing for numerous film clips, personally managing events, and keeping active within the professional dance industry. Sharing her passion she joins her staff at various schools and events throughout Melbourne. Her drive is based on innovative creativity, her clients, her students, parents and people in general who will be introduced to the fun of dance, entertainment and fun events through Danza!

Career Milestones

• Wedding routines, film clips, stylised marketing, birthday performances and event floor shows for many clients (2009 – present)

• Our latest feature in the Herald Sun of our Creative Director and Choreographer Rhianna Danza, and her concept Choreography with the Danza Talent Professional Dancers. Zed we are very proud to have worked with you on this historical Real Estate Visual Media. “Thank you for using our creatives to make our combined conceptual thoughts reality!”

• Providing models, entertainment and hosts for The AFL’s official Grand Final Luncheon.

• Live styling, entertainment and beauty services at Hisense Arena for more than 10,000 people to experience; at Transmission Australia, Subculture and many more.

• Manages various boxing event entertainment; including in-ring choreography, podium dancers, models and performers.A1 boxing event at the Royal Exhibition Building In 2013.

• Danced with ‘Justice Crew’. Launching ‘Boom Boom’ their number 1 hit on Australia’s Got Talent  broadcasted live on channel 7 – 2013.

• Choreographed and backed up danced for Marvin Priest for the launch of his latest album at Crown L3 – 2011.
